Bryant Butler
Datakwip, a cloud-based advanced analytics software company in Frederick, Maryland, announced today its appointment of Bryant Butler as its new Executive Vice President of Strategic Development to help lead expansion efforts and business development initiatives.
Bryant is an award-winning marketing, sales and business development executive who brings to Datakwip nearly 25 years’ experience in successfully leading multiple strategic growth campaigns for B2B technology companies. Prior to joining Datakwip, Bryant developed and managed the marketing and messaging elements of new product distribution channels as Director of Channel Development for Silicon Valley startup Software Motor Company (SMC).
“We are honored to add Bryant’s tremendous experience and expertise to our team,” said Datakwip President and Chief executive Cory Perdue. “I’ve known Bryant for many years and have no doubt that Bryant – with his outgoing personality, expansive professional network and sheer drive and ambition – will succeed in helping Datakwip quickly expand our existing markets as well as support our expansion into new markets.”
In addition to his role at SMC, Bryant has held executive business development and management roles at numerous other technology firms, including Intel, Mitsubishi Electric Semiconductor, Tridium (a subsidiary of Honeywell International Inc.) and Energy Curtailment Services (now NRG Energy).
As a United States Navy veteran with a postgraduate degree in business management, Butler is a skilled and decisive strategist who, over the course of his career, has demonstrated an acute business acumen.
“If I’ve learned anything over the years, it’s that no business development challenge is too big for the team that can successfully balance creativity and enthusiasm with patience, discipline and technical know-how,” said Bryant. “I am very excited about Datakwip’s culture of combining an approach of open-mindedness and a deep desire to listen to their partners and customers.”
