Local Firm To Award $20K of free technology products and/or services

Mavenspire, an Annapolis-based IT consulting firm, announced today the launch of its Extreme Technology Makeover to provide non-profits struggling in the current economic environment an opportunity to advance their cause with $20k in free technology.

Michael Tanenhaus, Mavenspire CEO said, “While the pandemic has provided economic challenges for most organizations, non-profits have suffered worst of all at a time when they are being called on to do more than ever. We saw this as an a great opportunity to give back to one of the mid-Atlantic’s heroic organizations by providing them with technology resources that serve as the backbone to staying open. Mavenspire wants to help a Mid-Atlantic non-profit use this challenging period to take their organization to the next level.”

On a recent “Business of Giving” podcast, John MacIntosh, Managing Director of Seachange Capital Partners, said that before the pandemic, almost 50% of non-profits had no margin for error, with less than 2 months of financial reserves. During the pandemic, MacIntosh encouraged non-profits to conserve cash and apply quickly for all pots of available money. Technology can allow a non-profit to help more people by increasing efficiency, expanding its sphere of influence or by better understanding and targeting its efforts.

Mavenspire will accept applications for Extreme Technology Makeover through June 30th at www.mavenspire.com/extreme-technology-makeover/#tellus. Applicants will share how the organization supports its community and how they think technology could advance its cause. Applicants may be either non-profit employees or organizational supporters. Mavenspire will accept applications from non-profit organizations in Maryland, DC, Virginia, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and North Carolina.

Mavenspire, a Dell Platinum Partner, helps mid-sized and enterprise organizations throughout the mid-Atlantic solve their most complex IT challenges, passionately enabling its clients’ long-term success through technology. Mavenspire provides expertise in complete and integrated data center solutions through Advisory Services, Network Design & Optimization, Solution Integrity & Security, Data Expansion & Protection and Automation, IoT and Modernization.
