Google-created workshops for parents are coming to the Baltimore area.
Through a partnership with the Y in Central Maryland, the free one-hour workshops will be offered in 14 locations in June and July.
Built around a collection of Google-developed resources called “Be Internet Awesome,” the IRL workshops are designed to provide education in the areas of online safety and “digital citizenship.” Here’s how the organizers describe the programming:
