AbleVets LLC, a leading provider of health IT solutions for government, is pleased to announce it is a finalist for a 2018 Greater Washington Government Contractor Award. AbleVets is competing in the Contractor of the Year category, $25-$75 million in revenue. The Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce and the Professional Services Council made the finalist announcement on September 12. Winners will be announced at the 16th Annual Greater Washington Government Contractor Awards ceremony to be held on November 5th.

The Contractor of the Year award honors a government contractor in the Greater Washington area with distinguished financial and operational accomplishments as well as a record of outstanding contributions to employees, the government contracting industry and the U.S. government. The award, which allows contractors to compete among firms with similar revenue, offers four different categories: up to $25 million, $25 to $75 million, $75 to $300 million and greater than $300 million.

“AbleVets is honored to be named a finalist,”said Wyatt Smith, CEO of AbleVets. “This recognition underscores the integrity and resolve our employees bring to our mission to improve the lives of Veterans and Active Duty. I thank each and every one of our team members for always going beyond the expected to help our health and defense customers achieve their objectives.”

Smith continued, “We are humbled to be included on a list that reads like a who’s whoof contractors.
