Tenable Network Security is continuing a recent trend of bringing in new faces with lots of experience in the senior ranks.

The Columbia-based cybersecurity company named its first Chief Revenue Officer and Chief Marketing Officer in an announcement issued Wednesday.

John Negron will serve as CRO. He previously worked in senior VP-level sales roles at Cisco and Columbia-based Sourcefire, which Cisco acquired in 2013. Negron helped to create the cybersecurity unit at Cisco, and led a team of 800 people in sales and engineering.
