zTrip Sponsors Baltimore 10 Miler

6/2/16

zTrip, the app that gets you a black car or taxi, is sponsoring this weekend’s CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield Baltimore 10 Miler.

The ninth running of the Baltimore 10 Miler begins at 7:30 a.m. this coming Saturday, June 4. The Baltimore 10 Miler will feature the same scenic, challenging (but fun) course that starts and finishes at Druid Hill Lake Park, near the Baltimore Zoo.

zTrip will offer a special code (10Miler) to help everyone get to and from the race. By using the code, runners won’t have to worry about parking hassles when they arrive for the race, and won’t need to drive themselves home after they’ve just completed a long run

zTrip will also have a booth at the 10 Miler where promotional items will be given away to runners and others associated with the race.

“We are committed to providing the best on-demand services in Baltimore and a new kind of personal transportation service for our city,” says Regional Vice President Dwight Kines.

This sponsorship continues zTrip’s commitment to charitable causes in the Baltimore community. Since its launch earlier this year, zTrip has been active in a number of charitable events in the Baltimore area, including the UnderArmour Sole of the City 10K benefitting Reading Partners, the 2016 R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center Gala, Reading Partners’ Tutor Appreciation Night, and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s upcoming Feastival. zTrip initially donated $10 to Kennedy Krieger Institute for every new user who downloaded and registered the zTrip app by April 30.
