The Residence Inn at Johns Hopkins Medical Campus Commits to Patronizing Local Businesses

The Residence Inn at Johns Hopkins Medical Campus has committed to supporting local businesses through a new initiative established during the COVID-19 pandemic. Through patronizing various local businesses, the Residence Inn at Johns Hopkins Medical Campus will spread goodwill throughout the Baltimore community.

Businesses that are being supported through this initiative include:

  • Mr. Dependable: a local hauling, landscaping, painting, contract work and moving company
  • Pies of Cheese: a local baking company
  • Taste of Comfort Catering: a local soul food caterer
  • Keke’s Treats, LLC: a local dessert company


“The COVID-19 pandemic has severely challenged small businesses,” said Dee Walker, director of sales and marketing Residence Inn Marriott at Johns Hopkins. “Now more than ever, it is important to patronize the small businesses that help make our community so great.
