Peter Loew
Knollwood, the premier life plan community of choice for those 62 and better in NW Washington, D.C., known for its commitment to serving those with a history with honorable service in federal government or the military, is pleased to announce the hiring of Peter Loew as the new director of the human resources department.
With more than 15 years of experience providing guidance on human resource topics and challenges, Loew returns to the senior-living sector. Loew will contribute to the Knollwood culture by engaging with staff, so they feel appreciated and are excited to perform their best for residents. In his prior experience, Loew successfully spearheaded the development of programs to streamline processes, as well as supported recruiting, developing, engaging, and retaining talented staff.

Loew joins Knollwood with previous senior-living experience from a professional and personal perspective. He is an adjunct professor teaching human resources at the University of Maryland and also the president of the board of directors at Little Falls Village, a non-profit organization committed to seniors. Loew earned a bachelor’s degree in culture geography from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and a master’s degree in human resource management from American University.
