COVID-19 Hospitalizations in Maryland Surpass 900 After More Than Three Weeks Below that Mark

The number of Marylanders currently hospitalized with COVID-19 rose to 915 on Wednesday, with the metric increasing by 20 more patients compared to Tuesday.

The state recorded fewer than 900 current hospitalizations for 23 consecutive days since the metric dipped below that mark on March 2 with 896 patients.

Hospitalizations have been trending upward for about a week and a half since reaching a recent low of 765 COVID-19 patients on March 12, the lowest number of current hospitalizations since November 2020.
