Maryland Sees Third Consecutive Day of at Least 900 New COVID-19 Cases

Maryland health officials on Friday reported 990 new coronavirus cases, marking the third straight day of at least 900 daily new cases.

At least 391,480 Marylanders have tested positive for COVID-19, while 990 have tested negative as of Friday morning, according to the Maryland Department of Health’s COVID-19 Case Map Dashboard.

A total of 7,848 Marylanders have died from COVID-19, with 16 additional deaths reported since Thursday. There are also 182 deaths suspected to be related to coronavirus.
