Maryland’s Coronavirus Hospitalizations Rise on First Day of March

Nearly a year after Maryland confirmed its first cases of coronavirus, state officials on Monday reported another 603 cases and 10 more deaths.

At least 382,702 Marylanders have tested positive for COVID-19, while 3,003,717 have tested negative as of Monday morning, according to the Maryland Department of Health’s COVID-19 Case Map Dashboard.

A total of 7,697 Marylanders have died from coronavirus, and another 182 deaths are suspected to be related to the virus.
