Maryland will open its fourth mass vaccination site in March, Gov. Larry Hogan announced on Tuesday.
Hogan also said that the state was increasing its tracking of variants of the coronavirus, and was expecting imminent distribution of a new single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
The fourth mass vaccination site, supported by FEMA, will be operating by March 11 in Charles County. FEMA will provide more than 100 personnel to inject vaccines and provide other support, the governor said in an announcement.
