Maryland Reports 516 New Cases, Marking Smallest Daily Total Since October

Maryland health officials on Tuesday reported 516 new cases of coronavirus, the lowest number of daily new cases reported since the state confirmed 492 cases on Oct. 21.

After Maryland reported 1,159 new cases on Saturday, the state saw its daily number of new cases decrease for three consecutive days, with 847 cases on Sunday, 722 on Monday, and 516 today.

At least 372,221 Marylanders have tested positive for COVID-19, while 2,933,581 have tested negative as of Tuesday morning, according to the Maryland Department of Health’s COVID-19 Case Map Dashboard.
