Howard County General Hospital: A Member of Johns Hopkins Medicine announces the appointment of Theresa Forgét, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, as executive director of Human Resources, beginning Monday, Feb. 15. As such, she will support the hospital’s strategic priority of attracting, engaging, developing and retaining the most talented people to fulfill the hospital’s mission of providing an excellent patient experience.

“We are pleased to welcome Theresa to our leadership team,” said M. Shafeeq Ahmed, M.D., MBA, interim president of Howard County General Hospital. “She has a wealth of experience in human resources and we welcome her expertise in improving systems and processes.”

Forgét most recently served as vice president of human resources for the Y in Central Maryland. Prior to that, she worked for the Montefiore Health System in the Bronx, N.Y., for 10 years, in progressively responsible positions; the last as senior director of human resources.

She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Sacred Heart University and a Master of Arts degree from New York University.
