Maryland Confirmed COVID-19 Cases Jump by 962, Surpassing 15,700

Maryland’s total number of confirmed coronavirus cases rose by 962, an increase of 6.5 percent, bringing the total number of cases in the state to at least 15,737.

According to state figures, 64,363 have tested negative as of Thursday morning.

A total of 680 Marylanders have died from COVID-19, with 49 additional deaths since Wednesday. There are also 68 deaths suspected to be related to coronavirus, according to the Maryland Department of Health’s Maryland COVID-19 Case Map Dashboard.
