Maryland Confirms More Than 9,400 Cases, 302 Deaths Due to COVID-19

At least 9,472 Marylanders have tested positive for COVID-19, while 42,815 have tested negative as of Tuesday morning, state officials said. The state’s total number of confirmed coronavirus cases rose by 711.

A total of 302 Marylanders have died from COVID-19, with 27 additional deaths since Monday, according to the Maryland Department of Health’s Maryland COVID-19 Case Map Dashboard.

Of the state’s total number of confirmed cases, 2,122 people who tested positive for COVID-19 were hospitalized at some point, while 603 isolated and were eventually released.
