The Maryland men's basketball team dropped six spots from No. 7 to No. 13 in the Associated Press poll released Dec. 23 after the Terps lost to Seton Hall Dec. 19.
Gonzaga (13-1) takes over the top spot in the AP poll, followed by Ohio State (11-1) and Louisville (11-1).
The Terps (10-2) have now fallen nine spots in the past two weeks after coming in at No. 4 Dec. 9.
Against Seton Hall, Maryland fell behind, 20-7, and trailed by as many as 15 points. The Terps made a late run, getting within two points as the game turned into mayhem in the final minute, but Seton Hall escaped with a 52-48 victory.
