It was a rough season for the McDaniel football team, as the Green Terror finished 2019 with a 3-7 record and lost its last six games. It marked the third straight year McDaniel went 3-7, and the Green Terror has struggled in the Centennial Conference in recent years.
But through the struggles of the football program, there has been constant support, especially from one couple: the Remberts. Donald and Judith Rembert have been proud alumni of McDaniel since their graduation from the school in 1961 and 1960, respectively.
On Oct. 28, their legacy at McDaniel was even further cemented with the dedication of Rembert Field at Kenneth R. Gill Stadium. The field was named for the Remberts in honor of their support of the college and the numerous donations the couple has made throughout the years.
