Pessin Katz Law, P.A. (PK Law) is excited to welcome attorney Drew T. Ricci to the firm. Mr. Riccijoins the firm as an Associate in the firm’s Labor and Employment Group.

Mr. Ricci concentrates his practice in general litigation, commercial litigation, labor and employment and insurance defense. He has experience handling family law, estate planning, and criminal law matters. He is currently barred in the District of Columbia and will be sworn in to the Maryland Bar on December 5, 2019.

Mr. Ricci has significant experience in cybersecurity. While in law school, he served as a Research Assistant to Law Professor Michael Greenberger, at the University of Maryland Center for Health & Homeland Security. In that role he helped to develop emergency response policies for government clients and researched and analyzed emerging cybersecurity issues pertaining to medical devices and 3D printers. In addition to his J.D. he obtained a Cybersecurity and Crisis Management Law Concentration Program Certificate from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law. He has continued to follow emerging cybersecurity legal issues and plans to continue to develop this as one of his areas of practice.

Mr. Ricci earned his undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina where he was Team Captain of the Varsity Track and Field Team, and on the Dean’s Honor List, the Academic Honor Roll for the Southeastern Conference and the Athletic Honor Roll.
