Ravens edge rusher Pernell McPhee is expected to miss the rest of the season with a torn triceps muscle, head coach John Harbaugh announced at his weekly news conference Oct. 21, costing the Ravens one of their leaders in a position group that was already short on depth.
After re-signing with the Ravens this past spring, returning to the team with which he broke into the league as a rookie fifth-round pick in 2011, McPhee started all seven games. He has registered 19 tackles and ranks second on the team with three sacks.
McPhee was injured early in the Ravens' 30-16 at Seattle Oct. 20.
