The Ravens have acquired Pro Bowl cornerback Marcus Peters from the Los Angeles Rams in exchange for inside linebacker Kenny Young and an undisclosed 2020 draft pick, a fifth-rounder according to multiple reports.

The deal, announced Oct. 15 by the two teams, bolsters the Ravens' injury-ravaged secondary and gives Young, a 2018 fourth-round pick, a fresh start after he had fallen out of favor in Baltimore.

Peters, 26, was the No. 18 overall pick in the 2015 draft and was named the Associated Press Defensive Rookie of the Year that season after leading the league with eight interceptions. He made the Pro Bowl in his first two seasons with the Chiefs, then was traded to the Rams in the spring of 2018.
