There have been four Baltimore Ravens games this season. I feel fairly confident in making the following four observations now that we've reached the quarter mark of 2019.
1. This IS your father's Ravens' defense.
The Super Bowl XXXV championship team of the 2000 season ushered in a new era of Ravens football, an era of defensive greatness so defining that much of national football media still genuinely believes it was actually the Ravens' DEFENSE that led them to their Super Bowl XLVII title despite the fact that the majority of them presumably had largely functional eyes at the time.
