Summit to present best practices in creating a culture of innovation.
Recognizing businesses need to continually innovate to compete in today’s economy, SC&H Group will launch an exclusive forum, AdvantEdge Live, to provide the practical solutions executives need to foster an organizational culture of growth and transformation.
On Monday, November 4th from 1:30 – 6:30 p.m. at Center Stage in Baltimore, SC&H Group will bring together top executives to share best practices and first-hand experiences about “leading on the edge” by leveraging data-driven decision making, progressive technologies and employee engagement to push boundaries across every industry.
“Executives today are expected to be agile leaders who are ready to recognize, learn, and adapt quickly to the constantly changing business landscape,” said Pritpal Kalsi, a director of SC&H Group’s Business Performance Management practice and chair of the firm’s innovation committee. “This goes for every aspect of the business: from operations to finance, from marketing to client experience.”
M&T Bank, Venable and Merritt Companies have signed on as partners for the event.
The success of its internal innovation summit last year inspired SC&H Group to launch the inaugural event. This year the firm has opened AdvantEdge up to the community, bringing companies together to learn about innovation versus tackling the subject alone. The event anticipates more than 350 attendees.
“AdvantEdge is a natural next step. We designed the agenda with input from our professionals, clients, event partners, and also based on feedback from other thought leaders,” added Ron Causey, SC&H Group’s co-founder and CEO. “There are companies and leaders who are experts in their fields of study, and we hope this event will serve as a new platform for innovation, with practical solutions for challenges businesses are facing today.”
Speakers and topics at AdvantEdge will include:
- Nicole Casanova, Casanova Ventures’ CEO and Connection Catalyst, who will present “Innovation is a Mindset Built on Connections.”
- Yet Analytics founder and CEO Shelly Blake-Plock discussing the “2020 Outlook for Artificial Intelligence.”
- Microsoft’s global lead for digital advisory services, Robert Hanegraaff, who will lay out strategies for “Digital Transformation.”
- Pritpal Kalsi, SC&H Group’s Business Performance Management director, presenting about how to achieve accounting and finance transformation.
- Joe Mechlinski, founder and CEO of SHIFT and bestselling author of SHIFT the Work, who will present on how to maximize workforce engagement.
To round out the event, AdvantEdge will hold a panel discussion on building a culture of innovation, moderated by Kevin Hebbel, principal at SC&H Group.
“True innovation in action is more than just technology,” said Mack McGee, SC&H Group’s chief marketing officer. “It’s a cultural and organizational commitment to lead on the edge.”
The event will conclude with a happy-hour reception where attendees can network and share ideas.
“Innovation doesn’t happen by chance,” said McGee. “There is something fundamentally unique about the organizations and leaders creating real change and pushing the limits of innovation. AdvantEdge will feature leading minds and organizational change agents, delivering practical guidance on seizing a competitive advantage.”
