New Officers Also Elected During Annual Meeting
Thomas Sand, a Partner at Ernst & Young, LLP, has been named President of the Board of Directors of The Arc Baltimore.
Sand, who formerly served as Vice President of The Arc Baltimore Board, was elected to his new post at the organization’s recent Annual Meeting and Awards Ceremony.
Other officers elected during the Annual Meeting were:
- Erik P. Daly (Senior Vice President, PNC Institutional Asset Management and Managing Director, PNC Capital Advisors, LLC), who was elected Vice President after previously serving as Treasurer;
- Jill Vocci, O.D. (Pediatric Optometrist with Pediatric Eye Care of Maryland), who was re-elected Secretary;
- Gregory J. Hogan (Director, SC&H Capital), who was named Treasurer; and
- Joseph P. Ward (Principal, Miles & Stockbridge, P.C.), who will serve as Past President after serving as President for the past two years.
“Each of these individuals brings tremendous skills and experience to our Board of Directors,” says Kathleen Durkin, Executive Director of The Arc Baltimore. “While the coming year will present new challenges and opportunities, I am very confident that with the leadership of this Board we are up to the task.”
The Arc Baltimore’s Annual Meeting and Awards Reception marked the kick-off celebration of the organization’s 70th year.
