The past two years have been a whirlwind for former Morgan State left tackle Joshua Miles.
The Baltimore native didn't play in 2017 because he was academically ineligible and spent the year improving his grades. He could work out and practice with his teammates, but when game day arrived on Saturdays, all he could do was sit and watch.
Three months ago, Miles was celebrating his last season of his college career with back-to-back wins against Delaware State and Norfolk State. In his final game against Norfolk State, he helped the Bears' offense rush for 333 yards and two touchdowns.
One month ago, the 2018 third-team All-MEAC selection was playing in the prestigious East-West Shrine game. Now Miles is preparing for the NFL Scouting Combine, which takes place in Indianapolis Feb. 26-March 4, and learning from players like former Indianapolis Colts defensive end Robert Mathis.
