With the start of free agency now just a month away, the Baltimore Ravens are surely crafting their strategy and trying to identify how best to allocate their spending.
While they contemplate unrestricted free agents, though, the Ravens have to address their own restricted free agents, and that will cost some money. Put another way, linebacker Patrick Onwuasor and defensive lineman Michael Pierce are about to get a nice raise.
Restricted free agents are players whose contracts have expired with at least three but less than four years of service time. The Ravens have four restricted free agents: Onwuasor, Pierce, running back Alex Collins and cornerback Stanley Jean-Baptiste.
