Home Care Pulse recognizes Ingleside service again for 2019 selection
Ingleside at Home, a nonprofit service providing a variety of high-quality personalized home care assistance, was recognized by Home Care Pulse with its Leader in Excellence, Provider of Choice and Employer of Choice awards for the second consecutive year. Home Care Pulse is an industry-leading firm in satisfaction research and quality assurance.
As a repeating winner of Leader in Excellence, Ingleside at Home remains one of just 130 providers in 31 states nationwide to earn this award and is among the top 10 percent of home care businesses participating in the Home Care Pulse Quality Management Program.
In addition, Ingleside at Home Executive Director Lisa Desmond, MBA, MSN, RN, NEA-BC, recently received her Nursing Executive Advanced Board Certification. This certification provides a valid and reliable assessment of the clinical knowledge and skills of the nurse charged with managing the daily operations of a unit or service line. Desmond was named executive director of the organization in 2017 and continues to apply her expertise to assist current residents and older adults in their homes.

Ingleside at Home’s personal and customized home care began as a pilot program in 2013 at Ingleside’s Westminster at Lake Ridge community. The program currently includes the surrounding Virginia area, most recently, Ingleside at King Farm and its surrounding neighborhoods, and will soon expand to Ingleside at Rock Creek and the greater Washington area.
