Baltimore-based developer Klein Enterprises announced today new tenants, expanding tenants and several renovations to Commerce Center in Pikesville, Md.
New tenants include Sage Ventures, LLC, a real estate development company opening a new office in 4,200 square-feet of office space on the second floor this month. Coming in the next few months, Hertz Car Rental will open a 1,700 square-feet storefront facing Reisterstown Road, Proud Moments, a behavioral health agency serving children on the autism spectrum from birth to age 21 will open in Suite 245; and Irwin|Limsky, a full-service law firm focusing on elder law, estate planning and disability will take over Suite 280.
“We’ve been looking for a space to accommodate our growing business and team,” said Gill Horwitz, president of Sage Ventures LLC. “The Commerce Center is the perfect match for our needs; the recent renovations make it a first-class space with close access to 695 to better serve our diverse portfolio,” added Horwitz.
New tenants who have recently opened for business include The UPS Store located in retail space along Reisterstown Road, Best Care Pharmacy and Harborview Builders, a real estate investment office. This past October, Klein Enterprises relocated and doubled its office space with a move to the first floor.
Other changes are set to take place over the next few months. Allstate Insurance is moving to a new space to make way for the expansion of Weiner’s Home Health Care with Cheryl’s Health Boutique, a new concept to offer maternity products for pre-natal and post-natal care along with mastectomy products for female breast cancer patients.
“We’re pleased to see a renewed interest in Commerce Center after renovations and updates to the interior and exterior,” said Patricia Palumbo, director of leasing and marketing for Klein Enterprises. “Customers and tenants are both noticing the improvements, and we see that in the uptick of traffic and leasing interest.”
Commerce Center, conveniently located off of I-695, contains a combination of office and retail space, including Ruth’s Chris Steak House, YogaWorks, Taylor Listening Center, Kassimir Physical Therapy and many others. Since purchasing the 157,450-square-foot property in 2011, Klein Enterprises has made a significant investment in Commerce Center, updating the property with a new interior lobby design, enhanced lighting, modern signage, improved landscaping and other physical upgrades.
