John Harbaugh said he was "humbled" to sign a new four-year contract to remain as head coach of the Ravens, and while he acknowledged that change happens every season in the NFL, he expressed excitement about the direction of the franchise with he and dynamic quarterback Lamar Jackson now firmly in control of the Ravens' offense for the foreseeable future.
Meeting with the media in the auditorium of the team facility Jan. 25 a day after signing his new contract, Harbaugh said, "It's an honor and it's a privilege to coach the Baltimore Ravens," a job he has held since 2008.
The deal caps a process that lasted more than a month but ultimately reached a conclusion that Harbaugh said he envisioned all along.
