The Baltimore Ravens signed head coach John Harbaugh to a new four-year contract Jan. 24, ending any suspense about his leadership of the team he has directed since 2008 to seven playoff appearances and one Super Bowl title.
Harbaugh is scheduled to meet with the media Jan. 25 in his first news conference since the season ended.
In a statement released by the team, Harbaugh said, "I'm very excited with this contract, the opportunity to continue our work here, and I'm humbled by it.
"I am thankful for the support from the Ravens, especially [team owner] Steve Bisciotti. We're working hard to make the 2019 Ravens the best we can be. We have an excellent team foundation, and we have a great organization with smart, hard-working people."
