Series to focus on strengthening and supporting abuse intervention services

In an effort to expand upon the current training and education offered by House of Ruth Maryland, the non-profit is proud to announce the launch of its new monthly webinar initiative, creating affordable, accessible and high-quality training to intimate partner violence service providers and partnering organizations.

“Many services in our field focus on the support and healing of survivors of intimate partner violence but, in order to meet our collective vision of everyone being safe in their own home, the responsibility for change must rest solely with the abusive partners,” said Lisa Nitsch, Director of Training and Education at House of Ruth Maryland, “For this reason, our first web-series will focus on strengthening and supporting Abuse Intervention Programs as part of a coordinated community response to end intimate partner violence.”
