Maryland Basketball Back In Top 25 Polls

The University of Maryland men's basketball team is back in the top 25 in the latest AP poll and USA Today Coaches Poll, released Jan. 14. The Terps come in at No. 19 in the AP poll and No. 22 the USA Today Coaches Poll.

Duke (14-1) holds on to the top spot in the AP poll, followed by Michigan (17-0) and Tennessee (14-1). In the USA Today Coaches Poll, Virginia (15-0) remains No. 1, followed by Duke and Tennessee.

Maryland has won five in a row to improve to 14-3 on the season and 5-1 in Big Ten play. During the past week, the Terps defeated Minnesota, 82-67, on the road Jan. 8 and edged then-No. 22 Indiana, 78-75, at home Jan. 11.
