Jersey Mike’s Subs Signs Lease At Lansdowne Station In Arbutus Section Of Baltimore County

Local franchise owner JM Baltimore Subs, LLC plans to open four locations in local region

JM Baltimore Subs, LLC, the local franchise owner for Jersey Mike’s Subs, has signed a lease for a new restaurant location within Lansdowne Station, a mixed-use project situated on Washington Boulevard (US Route 1) in the Lansdowne and Arbutus section of Baltimore County. The 500,000 square foot mixed-use project is owned by Venture B.G., LLC and is managed by David S. Brown Enterprises, LTD. Ken Bernstein, Senior Vice President of Retail Leasing for David S. Brown Enterprises and Bryan Spund of Segal & Associates represented the landlord and Michael Ginsburg of KLNB Retail represented the tenant in this transaction.

Including Lansdowne Station, JM Baltimore Subs intends to open four locations throughout the Baltimore County and Carroll County region in 2019. Leases have also been signed within retail projects in White Marsh and Westminster, and sites are currently being scouted in the Towson area. Approximately 15 employees will work within each location.

Jersey Mike’s is a fast-casual sub sandwich franchise that presently has more than 1,500 stores operating or under development. It features a variety of cold submarine sandwiches including tuna fish, turkey breast and club; hot submarine sandwiches such as Philly cheese steak, bacon ranch chicken and meatball; signature wraps including chicken Caesar and grilled vegetable; as well as kid’s meals and dessert items.

Lansdowne Station is anchored by a number of destination big-box stores including a 230,000 square foot Wal-Mart Supercenter, Petco, Office Depot and Bally’s Total Fitness Center and features complementary retailers and restaurants including IHOP, Moe’s Southwest Grill and America’s Best Wings. The office portion includes a three-story, 58,000 square foot building which is partially leased by Saint Agnes Hospital and includes approximately 150 hospital employees.

More than 135,000 people reside within a five-mile radius of Lansdowne Station including 145,000 households with an average household income exceeding $51,000.
