Mental Health Advocacy Group to Host First-Ever NAMIWalks Rally for the Community

The Maryland chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, known regionally as NAMI Maryland, is hosting a community rally to announce the NAMIWalks season and promote awareness of mental illness treatment and recovery. The first-ever NAMIWalks Rally will feature refreshments, craft activities, and information about NAMI and the upcoming NAMIWalks Maryland. The event is free and open to the public.

WHAT: NAMIWalks Maryland Rally

WHEN: February 5, 2019 from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm

WHO: Mental health supporters from across the region

Presented by NAMI Maryland, the 5K NAMIWalks event will take place at Rash Field Inner Harbor in Baltimore on June 1st. All funds raised support the work of NAMI Maryland and ten of its affiliates.
