The Baltimore Ravens' upcoming playoff game against the Los Angeles Chargers could serve as a litmus test of sorts for their newfangled-yet-old school offense led by dynamic rookie quarterback Lamar Jackson, as the Chargers will be the first team to play against this unorthodox scheme a second time.
The Ravens (10-6) will host the Chargers (12-4) at M&T Bank Stadium on Sunday, Jan. 6, by virtue of winning the AFC North title with a 26-24 win against the Cleveland Browns in Week 17.
The Ravens and Chargers met just two weeks ago in Los Angeles, with the Ravens winning 22-10. The Ravens' top-rated defense suffocated the Chargers, holding them to 198 yards of total offense, and cornerback Tavon Young scooped up a fumble and returned it for the game-clinching touchdown.
