Heritage Financial Consultants, an independent financial services and wealth management firm headquartered in Hunt Valley, MD, spent their annual Charity Day volunteering with First Fruit Farms, a non-profit dedicated to providing fresh, nutritious produce to those experiencing hunger in the Mid-Atlantic region. The team of 17 Heritage volunteers worked together to fill crates as they learned the correct way to pick potatoes and what makes an ideal potato for harvesting, ultimately preparing almost 11,000 lbs. of potatoes which will provide meals to food insecure families in Maryland and Pennsylvania.
