Galleria Deli, a family-owned deli that has been a fixture within Galleria Towers in Lutherville for more than thirty years, has completed a total renovation and remodeling program to “freshen-up and modernize” the interior, according to Kim Boyd who, along with her husband Gerald, have owned the eatery for the past thirteen years. Located at 1447 York Road in the Lutherville section of Baltimore County, Galleria Towers is a project of Hill Management Services, Inc.
“The timing was right to invest into the deli with an improvement effort that includes new floors and ceilings, kitchen equipment and tables, as well a few other cosmetic upgrades to provide a more aesthetically-pleasing interior,” explained Kim Boyd. “We intend to remain here for a very long time. The people who visit here are like family. Approximately 85% of our patrons are regular customers, so we know almost everyone. We attract many celebrities, including Ravens players, prominent business people and attorneys.

“There are several medical facilities on-site and in the immediate area and I think many of the physicians and nurses recommend us as a healthy and high-quality place for breakfast and lunch,” Kim added. “I think most people like to follow the orders of their doctor, so they come here to eat,” she laughed. “And, they return again and again even when regular customers change jobs and don’t work close by anymore, they always find a way to stop by for lunch.”
Galleria Towers is a seven-story, nearly 125,000 square foot Class “A” office and retail project with immediate access to I-695 (Baltimore Beltway). It features a variety of on-site tenant amenities and is near a diversity of restaurants and retail shopping options. The Towson central business district is approximately three miles away.
“Galleria Deli is a true institution in the Lutherville-Timonium community that draws regular customers from considerable distances,” explained Danielle Beyrodt, Vice President of Hill Management Services. “Gerald and Kim combine high-quality meals and fast service, with a personal experience that makes every visit a pleasure.
“This improvement program is another example of our corporate philosophy of taking a pro-active approach to enhancing the functional and aesthetic aspects of our properties, to better serve our tenants and their customers. Initiatives such as this are occurring throughout our portfolio and we make continuing investments to maintain a best-in-class environment for our office, warehouse/industrial and retail properties,” Beyrodt added.
