Husband-wife team Drs. Evan and Callan Lichtenauer utilizing Torque Release Technique proven to correct the root cause of health issues and deliver life-changing results to patients

Empower Chiropractic, owned and operated by the husband and wife team of Drs. Evan and Callan Lichtenauer, have opened a new family chiropractic practice within the Fairfax Circle Shopping Center located at 9649 Fairfax Boulevard in Fairfax, Virginia. The recent graduates of LIFE University in Marietta, Georgia relocated to the Northern Virginia region earlier this summer to establish the practice that utilizes the Torque Release Technique (TRT) that has been proven to correct the root cause of health care issues and consistently deliver life-changing results to patients.

“The mission of Empower Chiropractic is to help families live as long as possible, as healthy as possible and as naturally as possible without dependency on drugs or surgery,” explained Dr. Evan Lichtenauer. “We utilize a brand-new approach to chiropractic care that allows us to create fast and long-lasting results without the use of twisting, cracking or popping that is most typically associated with the chiropractic industry.”

According to Lichtenauer, chiropractors are nervous system doctors. The nervous system consists of a person’s brain, spinal cord and nerves. The brain sends messages down the spinal cord and out through the nerves to control and coordinate every other system in the body. This is key element, he stresses, as every other system of the entire body would be completely useless without input from the nervous system. When a person’s spinal bones are in perfect alignment, they have perfect 100% nerve flow from the brain to the rest of the body.

However, traumas such as car accidents or daily activities including sitting at a computer all day, texting or sleeping with the head turned in an awkward position every night can cause spinal bones to shift out of their proper alignment and put pressure on the nerves. These misalignment are called subluxations and they reduce the natural and even flow from the brain to the rest of the body.

Empower Chiropractic’s Torque Release Technique requires no twisting, cracking or popping but, rather, checks different segments in the spine and determines which bone needs to be adjusted at that exact moment. They adjust the spine using an instrument, called the Integrator™, which is the only FDA approved tool in the chiropractic profession. This assures that every adjustment addresses the specific problem and provides exactly what the body needs most. These adjustments stack on top of each other like building blocks so each visit builds better health. After an adjustment, the person will immediately experience increased energy and an overall sense of feeling good. They will also start sleeping more soundly, think more clearly and have less stress and tension.

“For years, the chiropractic industry has been associated with alleviating back pain, but actually it is so much more than that,” Dr. Callan Lichtenauer stated. “Interferences in the lower back nerves have been associated with infertility, bed wetting, pregnancy concerns, menstrual cramps, and digestive disorders like constipation or reflux. In the mid-back and in-between the shoulders, pain leads to heart trouble, asthma, high blood pressure, carpal tunnel. Neck pain and stressed shoulders have been associated with headaches, migraines, allergies, ADHD, ear infections and thyroid concerns. At Empower Chiropractic, we correct nerve interference, allowing the body to heal as it was intended to do.”

Empower Chiropractic is open Monday (10 am to 1 pm and 3 pm to 7 pm); Tuesday (3 pm to 7 pm); Wednesday (10 am to 1 pm and 3 pm to 5 pm) and Thursday (10 am to 1 pm and 3 pm to 7 pm). Fairfax Circle Shopping Center is located near the intersection of US Route 29 (Old Lee Highway) and US Route 50. For additional information, call 571.406.4102 or visit www.empowernova.com
