When Ravens defensive lineman Brent Urban goes out in Baltimore, he gets recognized. It's just not that he's necessarily recognized as Brent Urban.
"It's like an, 'Oh, you're big, you must do something' type of thing," Urban said.
Urban is big (6-foot-7, 300 pounds) and has played well in his first season as a starter on the Ravens' defensive line this year. But since he's not collecting stats and isn't a larger-than-life personality, he isn't one of the better known Ravens players in Baltimore. But oddly, he might be one of the players on the Ravens' roster with the biggest overall fan bases.
