Harford Family House, the only organization of its kind in Harford County that provides services to entire families experiencing homelessness is proud to announce the election of Jack Graham, Elizabeth Mosser, Jeffrey Paxson, Susan Stover and Meaghan Yurek to its board of directors.
Jack Graham is the Director of Game & Team Operations for the Aberdeen Ironbirds where he is responsible for all gameday operations in addition to serving as liaison to the Baltimore Orioles and the New York-Penn League. Prior to working for the Ironbirds, Graham played 3 seasons of minor league baseball in the Gulf Coast League, New York-Penn League for the Aberdeen Ironbirds and the South Atlantic League for the Delmarva Shorebirds. Graham received his Bachelor of Science in Political Science, with a concentration in Law & Society from Kenyon College. While there, he played four years of varsity baseball, served as co-captain and was voted the team’s Most Valuable Player in 2012.
Graham will serve on Harford Family House's Program Committee and was paramount in the success of the organization's 10th Annual "Homeruns for the Homeless" Home Run Derby in September.
Elizabeth Mosser is the Associate Dean for Academic Operations at Harford Community College, where she serves as trusted advisor to the Vice President for Academic Affairs on matters concerning policy, procedure and financial, administrative and operational issues. At HCC, Mosser is also an assistant professor of psychology, tenure track and the assistant women’s tennis coach. She is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA), the Society for the Teaching of Psychology and Psi Chi, the National Honor Society in Psychology. Mosser attained her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the West Chester University of Pennsylvania and her Master of Arts in Educational Psychology from Ohio State University.
Mosser will serve on Harford Family House’s Program Committee.
Jeffrey Paxson is the President of Pax-Edwards, a real-estate development company formed in 2012 with the purpose of developing affordable, multi-family communities. As President, Paxson is responsible for running day-to-day operations of the company and is intimately involved in site identification and acquisition, financial structuring, entitlements and tax credit procurements. Paxson earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Towson University and went on to become a Certified Public Accountant.
Paxson will serve on Harford Family House’s Property Committee.
Susan Stover is the Director of Sales for the Aberdeen Proving Ground Federal Credit Union (APGFCU). With more than 25 years of financial institution experience, she is charged with directing the operational aspects of service and sales to achieve the organization’s business goals. A proud graduate of Harford Leadership Academy, the National Association of Federal Credit Unions’ (NAFCU) Development Institute and the Credit Union National Association’s (CUNA) Financial Counseling and Collections School, Stover is a 2005 recipient of the CUNA best practices award for new member processes.
Stover has been elected Vice Chair of Harford Family House’s Board of Directors and will serve on its Executive Committee. She will also chair the organization’s Board Governance Committee.
Meaghan Yurek is the Graphic Designer & Communications Associate for Chesapeake Employers’ Insurance Company (formerly IWIF), where she is responsible for assisting with the conceptualization and design of both print and web advertisements, in addition to dissemination of internal and external communications on the organization’s behalf. Yurek is a graduate of York College of Pennsylvania where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design and played Women’s Lacrosse.
Yurek will serve on Harford Family House’s Marketing Committee.

About Harford Family House
Harford Family House is the largest provider of transitional housing for families with children experiencing homelessness in Harford County. Other programs include HUD Supportive Housing for families with children experiencing homelessness where one family member has a disability, Wheels for Work, providing transportation to and from work while helping families work toward car ownership, and Ready by 21, a program to support unaccompanied young adults ages 18-21 who are involved with the foster care system. Clients are provided with a fully furnished apartment or house and receive case management services and referrals to partner agencies to move them from homelessness and despair to hope and independence.
