Loyola University Maryland’s Center for Innovation in Urban Education (CIUE) is launching a Faculty Speaker Series to highlight faculty’s research work through a series of panel discussions, presentations, and lectures.
Through the series, the CIUE hopes to draw attention to the expansive work of Loyola’s School of Education faculty in collaboration with Baltimore-area schools.
“The CIUE Faculty Speaker Series is a chance to showcase the work of faculty and the rich, varied partnerships between Loyola’s School of Education and the Baltimore community,” said Rob Helfenbein, Ph.D., associate dean and professor of curriculum studies. “With urban education as part of our mission and a focus on impact in Baltimore, the School of Education hopes to push the city’s continuing but complicated conversation on equity, opportunity, and social justice for all its people.”
