The Grand Opening of Baltimore Spirits Company’s New Home at Union Collective

9/16/18

By Ethan McLeod, Baltimore Fishbowl

It’s a new era for the company formerly known as Baltimore Whiskey Co., with a new name to match its roster of locally made batch liquors and a larger distillery to produce all of it. The new headquarters, part of the made-in-Baltimore hub Union Collective in Medfield, officially opens its doors to the public today.

Guests will get to enjoy snacks and libations from the other merchants there, including a specialty collab ice cream from the Charmery that we can only assume is infused with some kind of tasty booze, drinks made with coffee from Vent Coffee Roasters and beers from the complex’s anchor business, Union Craft Brewing. (Dooby’s, of Mt. Vernon, is also making a guest appearance.)

Baltimore Spirits Company will be offering tours and tastings, including of the third batch of its tastyEpoch Rye. DJ Jack Denning, of Baltimore funk rock group All Mighty Senators, will provide the soundtrack for the festivities.
