(NYSE: HASI), a capital and services provider focused on sustainable infrastructure markets that address climate change, today announced that Jeffrey Eckel, President & CEO, received the Clean Energy Champion of the Year award from the Maryland Clean Energy Center (MCEC). Mr. Eckel will be honored at a special event to be held Tuesday, October 9, 2018in conjunction with the Maryland Clean Energy Center's 2018 Maryland Clean Energy Summit in College Park, Maryland.

Each year, the Maryland Clean Energy Center recognizes individuals who have done outstanding work to advance clean energy, energy efficiency and job creation in Maryland. These awards celebrate leadership, partnership, advocacy, investment and overall championship of the sector.
