Farm Credit Announces Ag Innovation Challenge Events

9/5/18

Farm Credit has announced three agriculture innovation challenge events this fall. These events are structured as one-day technology and innovation ideation workshops to solve real issues facing the agriculture industry.

“We are excited to see what ideas come from these challenge events,” says Andrew Rose, Director of Innovation, Strategy, and Development at MidAtlantic Farm Credit. “Programs like these give those who are making strides in our community a platform to share their ideas on how we can make sure agriculture continues to not only thrive, but expand.”

The events will be held on:

Each of these events will present four to six challenges sourced from businesses and industry subject matter experts. Participating teams select a challenge to work on during the course of the day, making a seven-minute presentation at the event’s conclusion before a panel of industry experts who provide feedback and will award a prize of up to $1,000.

Participants may apply individually or as a team (up to four members). Team members may be students, entrepreneurs, innovators, or anyone interested. For more information, visit mafc.com/agpitch.
