Audacious Inquiry made a series of new hires this summer that added to the Baltimore health IT company’s leadership team.
On Monday, the company said Scott Afzal was promoted to the position of President. Afzal has been with the bwtech@UMBC–based company for 11 years, during which time he has worked on the development and deployment of the company’s software platform, and provided advice to state and business leaders on health and data. He also served as director of the Chesapeake Regional Information System for our Patients (CRISP) health information exchange.
“Scott is visible as an expert and thought leader with our customers, and he has played a central role in building our organization. Scott’s new role reflects his leadership in the company and provides a platform from which he can continue to help us to grow and make a positive impact in the communities where we work,” said Audacious Inquiry CEO Chris Brandtsaid in a statement.
