Former Baltimore Ravens head coach Brian Billick believes Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco is deftly handling the presence of first-round quarterback Lamar Jackson ahead of the 2018 NFL season.
Flacco said July 20 he wasn't concerned about growing annoyed with questions about Jackson "because I think we're going to win, and then we're not going to hear about it." Billick said that's the right approach to take.
"He has said, 'Look, there's nothing I can say. We're going to out and play well, and we're going to be good, or we're not," Billick said on Glenn Clark Radio Aug. 1. "And if we're not, then what will happen will happen. If we are, then things take care of themselves.' And that's just the right attitude to have."
