Facebook Expands Plans For Digital Training In Baltimore

After workshops in November, Facebook plans to continue to offer digital training in Baltimore in 2019.

The social media giant announced a new partnership with the National Urban League on Wednesday that expands its efforts to provide training to small business owners.

Starting in 2019, Baltimore is one of 13 cities where Facebook will offer training in social media strategy and digital marketing at National Urban League locations. Details and dates for the training have yet to be released. The Greater Baltimore Urban League, where the national civil rights organization opened an entrepreneurship center in 2016, is located on Orchard Street in the Druid Hill neighborhood.
