Maryland’s Trendiest Dispensary, Storehouse, Opens Friday in Mt. Washington

Redefining the image of dispensaries, local entrepreneurs combine industry expertise andan eye for design to provide premier retail experience.

Maryland’s newest dispensary, Storehouse, opens its doors Friday in Baltimore’s Mt. Washington neighborhood, and will offer a variety of high-quality medical cannabis products in “the most beautiful dispensary” in the state.

Storehouse is a venture by entrepreneurs with deep Baltimore roots, Jeff Jacobson, Alex Kopicki, and Tim Piccin. “Back in 2015, we saw a tremendous opportunity to provide alternatives to patients who may not be getting what they need from traditional medicine.” says Jacobson.

“We want to deliver the best possible patient experience. The dispensary will often be the first touchpoint showcasing our brand, so we built a beautiful space where our patients will leave stigma at the door and feel comfortable while visiting. Our knowledgeable staff will guide them on their journey to wellness, ” explains Jacobson.

In 2017, the team found their flagship location – a retail space on Falls Road, with dedicated parking and Light Rail access. “Location for us was absolutely key,” says Kopicki.

The team hired SM+P Architects and set about re-envisioning the space as a light-filled showroom, with 20-foot clear ceilings, and custom storefront glass.

“We didn’t want to have a covert feeling,” explains Piccin. “When you enter most dispensaries, you are met with security guards and a dark waiting room. At Storehouse, everything is open and inviting.”

Storehouse hired industry veteran Chris Burke as their Director of Operations, who previously managed one of the most successful dispensaries in Denver for nearly 4 years. “Whatever you need, whatever your experience level with cannabis, we will guide you every step of the way.”

Storehouse has done its homework. On opening day, they will offer a full range of products including flower, tinctures, CBD products and vaporization options, along with a storewide Buy One, Get One 50% off sale to welcome new patients.

“We are excited to see our vision come to life and finally open our doors to provide patients the relief they need,” says Jacobson.

Storehouse is at 5730 Falls Rd, Baltimore, MD 21209, ¼ mile offI-83, Exit 10.Lightrail stop: Mt. Washington. Hours: Monday through Saturday, 11AM - 8PM; Sunday, 12PM - 5PM.
