The CASH Campaign Of Maryland To Receive $75,000 Grant From OneMain Financial

OneMain Financial grant will help continue CASH’s work to improve the financial security of low-to-moderate income individuals and families in Baltimore and across Maryland

The nonprofit CASH (Creating Assets, Savings and Hope) Campaign of Maryland (CASH Campaign) will receive a $75,000 grant from OneMain Financial. The grant is being awarded to the CASH Campaign based on their strong dedication to improving the well-being of all Marylanders. Some of the CASH Campaign’s programs and initiatives that will be served by the OneMain Financial grant include:

  • Capacity Building and Training: Increase the effectiveness and efficiency of asset building programs in Maryland.
  • Financial Education and Coaching: Enhance the availability and quality of free financial education services for working families through a unique online platform called the Maryland CASH Academy.
  • Policy and Advocacy: Provide current, local data and analysis on the financial issues and policies that protect or jeopardize the financial security of working families.
  • General Awareness Building: Supply information on financial issues to the general public, funders, elected officials, and government agencies.
