Immuta Adds New Features To Data Management Platform

Following the close of a $20 million Series B earlier this summer, Immuta is launching the latest version of its data management platform.

The College Park, Md.–based startup makes a platform that provides a central place for data scientists, companies that own data and lawyers or members of a governance team working together to build algorithms. It allows any data source to connect, and aims to improve the view of what is going into a data science tool.

One goal is to make it easier to enforce policies around the data in regulated environments. With the new version, the company created features that allow organizations to build policies that can be enforced at a global level. That means the policies don’t have to be applied individually.
